HOW WE PROTECT YOUR ACCOUNT

Data Handling, Cookies and Account Security at indsolt

Security and transparency sit at the centre of how we manage account data. The six practices below cover the specific areas you are most likely to ask about — from cookies to…

Data We Collect

We collect name, contact details, date of birth for age verification, and payment references from UPI, Paytm or PhonePe. We collect only what is necessary to operate your account and process transactions you initiate.

Cookie Usage

Our site uses session cookies to keep you logged in, preference cookies to remember your lobby settings, and analytics cookies to understand how pages are used. You can manage cookie preferences from your browser settings at any time.

Account Security

Account credentials are stored using one-way hashing. Withdrawal requests go through an identity-verification step before funds are released to your linked UPI or PhonePe handle, reducing the risk of unauthorised payouts.

Data Retention

We retain active account data for as long as your account is open. After account closure, records are kept for the period required by applicable Indian financial and tax regulations, then securely deleted or anonymised.

Third-Party Sharing

Personal data is shared only with payment processors (UPI networks, Paytm, PhonePe), identity-verification services and regulators where legally required. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

Requesting Changes

You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccurate records, or request deletion by contacting our privacy team via email or live chat. We will confirm receipt and act within five business days.

Common Questions About Your Data and Privacy Rights

Below are the questions our account holders ask most often about how their data is collected, who can see it, and what rights they have under our privacy policy. If your question is not answered here, reach out through the contact channels listed above.

We collect your name, email address, mobile number, date of birth and a government-issued ID reference for verification. Payment identifiers tied to your UPI, Paytm or PhonePe account are also recorded when you complete a transaction.

We store only the payment reference or VPA handle needed to match a deposit or withdrawal to your account. Full bank credentials are never stored on our servers — those remain with the UPI network or Paytm infrastructure that processes the transfer.

Yes. Email our privacy team or use the in-app chat to submit a data-access request. Include your registered email and account ID, and we will send you a summary of your stored data within five business days.

After closure, we retain transaction records for the period mandated by applicable Indian financial regulations. Non-financial personal data is deleted or anonymised once that statutory retention window expires and there are no pending disputes.

Data may be processed by servers or service providers outside India solely to run payment verification or fraud screening. Any such transfer is covered by contractual protections requiring the recipient to meet standards equivalent to applicable Indian data-protection norms.

Contact our privacy team via email or live chat with the subject line Data Deletion. We will verify your identity, check for any legal hold on the data, and confirm deletion or explain any retention obligation within five business days.

Log in and visit the Account Settings section to update your name, email or phone number. For changes to identity-verification documents, contact support directly — an agent will guide you through the re-verification steps required before the update is applied.
